NEW JAZZ CITY is a live music series that will be held in THE SOLARIUM at the Ritz Carlton on select Sundays. These shows will be a platform for underground seasoned musicians to perform all genres of jazz: straight-ahead, cool, groove, acid, smooth, and funk. These premium performances for jazz aficionados are limited to 150 seats. The backdrop of the City of Clayton viewed through a glass wall will only magnify the intimate experience.
The April series introduces the debut performance of PARK AVENUE COLLECTIVE. This talented quintet will deliver an explosive yet precise display of improvisation and the pure skill of chart bending. We have on saxophone, the straight-ahead "Sax Wonder" Kendrick Smith in the front. To the left on the trumpet, Danny "Golden Boy" Campbell. On keys, we have the tone master himself, the inconquerable Adam Maness. Dropping "dat” bass, we have "Babyface Fingers" Teddy Brookins. To complete this 5-piece dinner no biscuit is the masterful...Irwin "Tempo" Neal on the skins, the timekeeper on drums. PARK AVENUE COLLECTIVE is a full sound of well-rounded musicians aimed to please the croud.

This is a ticketed event. Door sale and walk-ins will be available at the door the evening of the shows. However, seats are not guaranteed. Door sales, walk-ins, and standing room will be limited. Credit card accepted ONLY, NO cash. We suggest arriving early to post up at our highboy tables or chill in the bar area. Prices may vary. During these times of Covid, we are only offering group seating of 4 guests per table. No exceptions. This allows separation from others while enjoying great live entertainment amongst friends and family. Masks will be required and enforced upon entry.
NO food will be offered, ordered, or brought into the Solarium. We strongly suggest eating before you arrive. Please come early for seating and/or purchase drinks. We will be offering a full cash bar at 4.30m.
